User Instructions for using DRYOUT to recover a wet camera lens.
QUICK START GUIDE
When your gear gets wet, acting quickly is critical. Carefully follow the steps below to optimize your results with DRYOUT.
1. Power Down
If the gear contains electronics: Turn the device off immediately after moisture exposure. Do not charge or operate the device while moisture may still be present.Avoid repeatedly powering the device on to check whether it works.
2. Prepare the Gear
Remove protective cases, covers, sleeves, batteries (when removable), or accessories that may trap moisture.If the gear was exposed to saltwater, chlorinated water, beverages, mud, chemicals, sweat, sunscreen, soap, or other contaminants, follow the manufacturer's cleaning instructions whenever available before using DRYOUT. Wipe away any visible moisture using a clean, dry cloth.
3. Place the Gear into a DRYOUT-engineered Product
Position the gear according to the product's instructions, if applicable. Do not overcrowd or stack multiple items unless specifically instructed.Fully close the product.
4. Allow Recovery Time
Leave the gear undisturbed for at least the recommended recovery time shown in the Recovery Time Table below.
Recovery time depends on:
Gear type
Moisture exposure
Ambient temperature
Relative humidity
AirflowContaminants
When in doubt, allow additional recovery time.
5. Reset DRYOUT Before Its Next Recovery Use
After DRYOUT has absorbed meaningful amounts of moisture:
Remove all gear.
Open the product completely or remove the DRYOUT panel or insert whenever possible. Reset DRYOUT using one of the approved reset methods described later in these instructions.
Heat is used only to reset DRYOUT—not to dry wet gear.

RECOVERY TIME TABLE
Use the guidelines below to estimate how long your gear should stay in DRYOUT based on the surrounding temperature and the severity of the moisture exposure. These are minimum suggested times—when in doubt, give your gear extra time to recover.
