About DRYOUTWhy DRYOUTUsing DRYOUTReset and ReuseStorage & PerformanceSafetyEnvironmental & ComplianceBusiness & Purchasing
Yes.DRYOUT is designed to help manage moisture during both everyday use and long-term storage. Many users keep valuable gear stored in DRYOUT-enabled products to help manage moisture caused by humidity, condensation, and changing environmental conditions. For best performance during extended storage, periodically reset DRYOUT as recommended.See the User Instructions for product-specific reset recommendations.
Yes.DRYOUT is designed to function within compatible enclosed products, including hard cases, bags, pouches, and sleeves.Performance depends on several factors, including the amount of trapped moisture, ambient temperature, airflow, and how tightly the enclosure is sealed. While sealed storage can help limit the introduction of new moisture, DRYOUT still requires periodic resetting to release the moisture it has collected.
Humidity affects how quickly moisture can be removed and released. In dry environments, moisture is generally removed and released more quickly. In humid environments, the air can accept less additional moisture, which may increase both recovery and reset times. For this reason, recovery and reset times may vary depending on your environment.
Yes.DRYOUT can help manage moisture from sweat, damp clothing, shoes, towels, and humid environments when integrated into compatible products designed for those applications.Because every product is designed for a specific purpose, always use your DRYOUT-enabled product as intended by the manufacturer.
DRYOUT is designed to help remove moisture from compatible gear and enclosed spaces, it is not intended to replace a clothes dryer.Very wet clothing or towels contain significantly more moisture than most DRYOUT-engineered products are designed to manage. For best performance, use DRYOUT with the gear and products for which it was designed.
Yes.Many collectibles and valuable items can benefit from managing moisture during storage.Depending on the DRYOUT-enabled product, DRYOUT may be suitable for helping manage moisture around items such as:Cameras and opticsWatchesMusical equipmentImportant documentsCollectiblesToolsPrecision equipmentOther humidity-sensitive gearAlways use a DRYOUT-enabled product that is appropriately sized and designed for the items being stored.
Yes.Temperature is one of the biggest factors affecting moisture removal.Warmer temperatures generally improve recovery and reset performance, while colder temperatures slow moisture movement. In freezing conditions, recovery and reset may require additional time.See the User Instructions for temperature-specific recovery and reset guidance.
Under normal conditions, altitude has little effect on DRYOUT's performance.Factors such as moisture exposure, temperature, humidity, and airflow have a much greater impact on recovery and reset times than elevation alone.
Yes.Many DRYOUT-enabled products are designed for everyday carry and long-term storage. Leaving compatible gear inside a DRYOUT-enabled product during normal use is an excellent way to help manage everyday moisture from humidity, condensation, and changing environments.Simply reset DRYOUT periodically, or after recovering heavily wet gear, to maintain optimal performance.
